  • Your bankruptcy petition is prepared after you provide us necessary paperwork and certificates which will be discussed with you in our meeting.
  • You review your paperwork and convey us your consent to file.
  • Your case is filed with the Court.
  • You will receive confirmation from us informing you of the date, time and location of your Meeting of Creditors.
  • You will receive a request for documents from the Trustee. You must comply with this request fully and promptly.
  • Your Meeting of Creditors will be held approximately 6 weeks after filing. You must bring photo Identification and your Social Security Card.
  • Your discharge will be mailed out by the Clerk’s office approximately 90 days after the Meeting of Creditors.

  • Your bankruptcy petition is prepared after you provide us necessary paperwork and certificates which will be discussed with you in our meeting.
  • You review your paperwork and convey us your consent to file.
  • Your case is filed with the Court.
  • The Trustee must receive your first Trustee Payment within 30 days of filing, in the form of cashier’s check or money order.
  • You will receive a letter from us informing you of the date, time and location of your Meeting of Creditors.
  • You will receive a request for documents from the Trustee. You must comply with this request fully and promptly.
  • Your Meeting of Creditors will be held approximately 6 weeks after filing. You must bring Photo Identification and your Social Security Card.
  • Your Creditors have 60 days from the date of the Meeting of Creditors to file any objections to discharge.
  • After the 60 days for objections has elapsed, the Trustee will submit a recommendation or objection to the case. You and your attorney will then have 30 days to make any necessary adjustments and submit a proposed stipulated order for confirmation. If this order is approved by the Trustee and the Judge, then your case is "confirmed."
