How to Rebuild your Credit after a Bankruptcy

The attorneys of Haroon Law Group, in Plano TX , have been helping people since 2007 to get a fresh start through Chapter 7 bankruptcy, Chapter 13 bankruptcy, or alternatives to bankruptcy, including debt settlement plans. We realize that there are a lot of myths about bankruptcy. Two of the most common misunderstandings, propagated by the credit industry, are that you will face foreclosure on your home and that you will never be able to rebuild your credit. Not true.  The fact is that even after bankruptcy filing, you may actually be able to keep your house and car, as long as you keep making your contractually obligated payment. Your family will not be homeless nor will you be forced to give up your automobile. Some creditors may be willing to grant you credit, now that you have no burden from the past and are likely to make your payments on time.
